The EcoVadis medal is an acknowledgement of corporate sustainability performance, rated relative to other over globally 100,000 assessed companies. Today, EcoVadis is recognized as the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings. The rating system basically focusses on the 4 areas environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. The EcoVadis methodology is aligned with multiple internationally leading standards.
Compared to the previous reporting period, CHT’s overall score in the current rating improved again and now stands at 73 out of 100 points (+5). This is primarily due to the improved scores in the areas of ethics and sustainable procurement and the confirmed excellent result in the environmental scope.
This achievement puts CHT Group in the top 5% of chemical companies evaluated.
The latest gold assessment is not only a testament of our responsible business practices. It is a perfect data source for further improvement potentials. Besides that, the EcoVadis scoring system creates transparency and trust, for us but also for all CHT Group’s stakeholders.
