Global Compact
Sustainable and responsible corporate governance – worldwide.
CHT has been a signatory of the UN Global Compact since mid-2016. We see this commitment as a great opportunity to underpin our claims to sustainable, responsible corporate governance and to develop these further in the long term.
Exchanging and sharing experience in the network will broaden our perspective in the future and sharpen our focus, but will also optimise our measures and contribute to fully exploit our potential. By sharing information and experience with other companies we also have the possibility of finding additional activity fields for the CHT Group and expanding our business relations. The CHT Group is committed to the 10 principles of the United Nations Global Compact and to responsible corporate governance with integrity.
The Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact
HUMAN RIGHTS
01 Businesses should support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights; and
02 make sure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses.
LABOR

04 the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour;
05 the effective abolition of child labour; and
06 the elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.
ENVIRONMENT
07 Businesses should support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges;

09 encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.
ANTI-CORRUPTION
10 Businesses should work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery.
