You can visit our site without having to release any personal data. Our servers automatically store access data as server log without personal reference. This data is used exclusively for the improvement of our service and does not allow any conclusion to your person.
We store these protocols of our web servers and, if necessary, firewall for a maximum of 7 days.
The following data can be temporarily stored in the server log:

From the data entered in the contact form, an e-mail is generated via our servers, which is sent to a colleague within the CHT Group depending on the type of your request. This recipient is explicitly instructed to deal with the matter in due time and to delete the mail afterwards.
We store the incoming form data on our servers for a maximum of 25 days and do not transfer the data to any other applications, unless this is necessary for the purpose of processing the order (e.g. for sending documents).
Tax and commercial law obligations to retain data may require us to store it within backup processes.
Registration to myCHT user section
Personal data (like company, name, address, telephone number, telefax number and e-mail address) are collected only if you give them voluntarily for registration in myCHT.
Your data serves your identification and the linked authorisation for usage of the added values offered within the user area, as well as for the communication within the scope of the registration.
You can correct or delete your user account and the data stored there at any time.
If you have given your consent with your myCHT registration to be contacted through CHT by post or e-mail, we will process your data within the CleverReach software for the newsletter dispatch.
For the newsletter dispatch we use the service CleverReach of CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, Mhlenstr. 43, 26180 Rastede, Germany.
In CleverReach we process the following information about your myCHT profile for the purpose of sending you our newsletter:
- e-mail address

Further information on data protection at CleverReach can be found here: https://www.cleverreach.com/en/privacy-policy/
You may opt out of these newsletters at any time and withdraw your consent for further mailings. Once you have opted out, we will delete all your data from the CleverReach platform. Furthermore, we understand this measure as a withdrawal of the general declaration of consent to be contacted by us and will implement this accordingly in your myCHT profile.
Before placing orders, registration in the internal myCHT as well as creation of an active customer status at CHT Germany GmbH have to be done first. When creating the customer status, we store your personal data (such as company, name, address, telephone number, fax number and e-mail address) as master data in our SAP system. These master files are used for fulfilling and settling your order. Your data is only passed to a shipping company appointed for delivery if this is necessary for shipment of the goods.
Your order triggers an automatic order confirmation to you, which is sent by us without encryption.
HR and Application Data
For the application process the CHT Group uses the cloud based software workday (www.workday.com).
Depending on the vacant position and the location, your applicant data is only visible to authorised employees of the personnel department. In addition, the responsible managers of the department that fills the vacancy have access to the application data.
Workday sends an automatic confirmation of receipt to the applicant by e-mail.
We store the data from your application for the duration of the application process and use it to determine your suitability for the intended job. If you are accepted, we transfer the data necessary for the organization of the employment relationship to the data-protected personnel file. If the application process is completed and it is clear that no employment relationship will be established with us, we will delete this data promptly, but no later than six months after the position has been awarded.
We store data of candidates who appear suitable for other current or future positions within a candidate pool. For this purpose, however, we will contact you again separately and ask for your consent.
If you have applied to us on your own initiative, we will delete your data as soon as we have been able to assess that no employment relationship will come about, but after six months at the latest. You have the possibility to withdraw your unsolicited application at any time or to grant us the right of extended storage.
Applications (direct or unsolicited) can be withdrawn at any time by e-mail to hr[at]cht.com. You can also request the deletion of all personal data from our system at any time.
