From October 19 to 26, 2022, the CHT Group will be an exhibitor at the world's leading trade fair for the plastics and rubber industry, K, in Düsseldorf, Germany, and will have its own booth (Hall 8A, Booth D50) to present the latest product developments in the silicone elastomer sector.

The CHT Group's focus at this year's K will be on the two silicone developments SilSo Clear 21002 and SilSo Lite 21025.

SilSo Clear 21002 is the latest addition to CHT's optical materials product portfolio. This product is a platinum-cured, highly transparent liquid silicone rubber (LSR) developed for injection molding of optical parts. With its excellent transparency, UV, temperature and moisture resistance, this material is suitable for a wide range of sophisticated indoor, outdoor and automotive lighting applications. SilSo Clear 21002 is lightweight, scratch resistant and will not yellow. It is also easy to process.

SilSo Lite 21025 is a new, state-of-the-art silicone foam from the CHT Group for electronic components and energy storage modules in electric vehicles. It consists of a two-component, room temperature self-blowing silicone that forms a closed cell structure. SilSo Lite 21025 meets criteria for reducing weight, mitigating thermal chain reactions (thermal runaway) and protecting against moisture, debris, vibration and shock. This silicone foam is ideal where low smoke, flame and toxicity are required.

The K trade fair is the leading business platform for the plastics and rubber industry. As the world's leading trade fair, K will once again provide groundbreaking innovations and developments as well as visionary impulses next October. Industry and research from all over the world will present future perspectives and solutions.

Visit us from October 19 to 26, 2022 at our booth (Hall 8A, Booth D50) at K, Fair Düsseldorf, and see for yourself our latest product developments in the silicone elastomer sector.
