Our new Smart Air® washing process is based on the so-called DFA technology (DFA = direct fog application) - a very special nebulization application on textiles for any type of chemicals.
The micro-fine spray mist, consisting of an enzyme cocktail and surfactants (detergent), is applied directly to the soiled laundry so that no free liquor is produced in the pre-wash, thus saving an enormous amount of water, chemicals and energy, all in the interests of sustainability. This prevents overdosing and, above all, no expensive chemicals are unnecessarily transported into the sewer, which in turn also significantly improves the wastewater values!
With the innovative SMART AIR® process, enzymes, detergents, fabric softeners and FC-free products for water and oil repellency can be nebulized as so-called microbubbles and applied to textiles of all kinds in the pre-wash.
Smart washing with SMART AIR®. Wash efficiently, protect textiles and the environment with CHT.
In addition to the SMART AIR® washing process, the CHT Group focuses on ways to save water and energy. This goal can be achieved with the established SMART UV POWER washing process, an intelligent combination of physics and chemistry.
With over 300 UV-C systems, considerable amounts of water, energy, CO2 and detergent have already been saved. Sustainability is achieved on several levels with SMART UV POWER because, on the one hand, UV-C technology improves the quality of the wastewater by significantly reducing COD and TOC values. On the other hand, with up to 30 % less chemicals, optimum stain and dirt removal and consequently the lowest rewash rates are achieved. One sign that SMART UV POWER works optimally is the minimal fiber damage with a very high basic whiteness value. Contamination in car washes is counteracted by the double disinfection effect, on the one hand by the UV-C energy and on the other by the hydrogen peroxide.
With SMART UV POWER, excellent washing results can be achieved while saving valuable resources and reducing the environmental impact. The hydrogen peroxide is activated by the UV-C energy, which means that the innovative washing process can also be used at low temperatures. For example, the washing temperature in the washing process can be reduced from 70 °C to 60 °C or even to 40 - 50 °C, whereby neither chlorine nor peracids are used.
