From October 12 to 14, 2022, the CHT Group will be exhibitor at MIAC in Lucca (Italy) and will have its own booth (booth 177) to present its sustainable technologies for paper coating.

The CHT Group sees itself as a partner for sustainable products and solutions to optimally support paper producers in achieving their sustainability goals. These sustainability goals can be energy and resource savings, a high recycling rate, the reduction of CO2 emissions and the use of all-natural products to support the circular economy.

BIOLAY
CHT Group's focus at this year's MIAC is on newly developed sustainable barrier products against greases and oils. Since the Single-Use Plastics Directive EU 2019/904 came into force, certain single-use packaging materials have been subject to mandatory labeling or have been banned altogether. Against this background, the CHT Group has initiated the new development of the innovative BIOLAY barrier products against greases and oils. BIOLAY is a natural barrier product against greases and oils to package food safely and sustainably while protecting the environment. The innovative product is completely free from synthetically produced compounds. It is 100% biodegradable and free from microplastics and fluorocarbons.

CHT-COAT WAX
The newly developed BIOLAY barrier products can be precisely adapted to the necessary requirements by adding further additives such as CHT-COAT WAX. The portfolio includes both synthetic waxes based on HDPE and paraffin wax, among others, as well as natural wax emulsions.

QUIMIZIME/ZIAX
The production of the base paper can also be made more sustainable thanks to CHT enzyme products (Quimizime/ZIAX). The powerful biocatalysts ensure optimized fiber fibrillation and significant savings in refining energy.

TUBIBOND
The adhesive products of the TUBIBOND range ensure optimum further processing of the paper. The customized water-based adhesives offer a solution for every application.

The newly developed solutions of the CHT Group support the transition from the fossil age to a sustainable circular economy.

MIAC in Lucca (Italy) is the trade fair for the latest developments in the European paper industry with a focus on tissue and converting. Visit us at our booth 177 from October 12 to 14, 2022 and convince yourself of our sustainable technologies for paper coating.
