CHT at THE BATTERY SHOW EUROPE 2025

From June 03-05, 2025, the CHT Group will be part of THE BATTERY SHOW EUROPE in Stuttgart, Germany, at booth E100 in hall 10.

  • SilSo Lite 21030: Lightweight silicone foam for high demanding dispensing challenges
  • SilSo Lite 21010: Low density silicone elastomer for potting and safeguarding of electronic components
  • SilSo Lite 21025: Shock and moisture preventing 2 component Silicone foam for electronic components. Protection against thermal runaway

CHT Group's focus at this year's THE BATTERY SHOW EUROPE will be on the following silicone developments:

SilSo Lite 21030

With SilSo Lite 21030, CHT Group presents  the newest silicone foam material development, designed for lightweight applications with high demanding dispensing challenges. This low viscosity, two-component silicone foam provides excellent flow and medium density, ensuring minimal pressure buildup and level rise. Perfect for potting, encapsulation, and barrier applications enhancing optimal flow i.e. between battery cells. SilSo Lite 21030 offers also exceptional protection against combustion hazards and thermal events.

SilSo Lite 21010

SilSo Lite 21010 represents a cutting-edge low density silicone elastomer developed by the CHT Group, designed specifically for potting and safeguarding electronic components. Moreover, it stands as an optimal choice for integration within energy storage modules in electric vehicles. This material, featuring a 2-component composition, has low viscosity and low density characteristics, alongside remarkable flame-retardant properties and exceptional dielectric strength. SilSo Lite 21010 excels in meeting the stringent criteria for weight reduction, prevention of thermal chain reactions (commonly known as "thermal runaway"), and defense against moisture, dirt, vibration, and shock. This silicone elastomer is ideal whenever low smoke generation, flame formation and toxicity are required.

SilSo Lite 21025

SilSo Lite 21025 is a new state-of-the-art silicone foam from the CHT Group for electronic components and energy storage modules in electric vehicles. It consists of a 2-component silicone, self-foaming at room temperature, that forms a closed cell structure. SilSo Lite 21025 meets criteria for reducing weight, eliminating thermal chain reactions ("thermal runaway") and protecting against moisture, dirt, vibration and shock. This silicone foam is ideal whenever low smoke generation, flame formation and toxicity are required.

The trade fair THE BATTERY SHOW EUROPE in Stuttgart is Europe's leading trade fair for state-of-the-art battery technology in the fields of electric and hybrid vehicles, energy supply and renewable energies, stationary power supply, portable electronics, medical technology, military, and telecommunications.

Come and visit us from June 03 to June 05 2025 at our booth E100 in Hall 10 to find out more about our latest silicone elastomers for the electronics sector.
