The highest demands on the quality of our productsand processes, maximum safety and careful handling of the environment have always been central concerns of the CHT Group and determine the company policy as well as the strategic planning.
That is why we have been recognized and successful worldwide for more than 70 years.
Certifications and accreditations
The Group's global sites are extensively certified to international and national standards. Both technically and in terms of the qualifications of our workforce, we are ideally equipped in all regions worldwide.
The sites in Switzerland and Germany play a pioneering role. The introduction of a certified quality management system as early as 1993 marked the beginning of the development of the integrated management system that today encompasses all corporate activities. Further certifications in the energy, environmental and accredited laboratory areas ensure a very safe and sustainable working level of the company's divisions in the long term.

Quality Policy
The quality policy is based on general principles and the requirements of international quality standards.
Executive Management is committed to complying with the requirements of the following standards:
ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 22716 in their current versions and respective scopes. These standards, taking into account the purpose and context of the organization, form the basis for a holistic, company-wide approach, strict compliance with all legal requirements in quality assurance, and continuous improvement of all processes, with a focus on ensuring the quality of products and services.
The quality policy provides the framework for establishing and reviewing quality objectives.

Occupational Health and Safety Policy (OH&S Policy)
Executive Management holds ultimate responsibility for occupational health and safety. Based on this responsibility, it is committed to maintaining and continuously improving an appropriate occupational health and safety management system in which all employees are qualified, motivated to actively participate, involved according to their responsibilities, and actively consulted.
The prevention of work-related injuries and illnesses of all persons identified within the context of the organization is the highest priority. This is achieved through hazard elimination, risk reduction, continuous improvement of OH&S performance, and strict compliance with all legal and voluntary obligations (see applicable document “Binding Obligations”).
This OH&S policy provides the framework for establishing and reviewing occupational health and safety objectives.
At all levels of the organization and within the entire safety-relevant sphere of influence, we communicate our commitment to occupational health and safety, train employees to fulfill their responsibilities, and provide instruction to prevent hazards and risks.
The OH&S policy is communicated within the organization, available to employees and relevant interested parties, and regularly reviewed for suitability and effectiveness and updated where necessary.
Environmental policy and energy policy
Uncompromising environmental and energy policies are further decisive aspects and important factors influencing the CHT Group's corporate policy, which is geared towards sustainability.
