In model and mould making as well as rapid prototyping, moulds are mainly produced from RTV-2 addition and condensation crosslinking silicone components.

One of the major advantages of silicone elastomers is the replication of reproduction picking up even the finest of details. Even complex geometric shapes and models of different size are easily reproduced by selecting the appropriate moulding technique.

    In order to comply with these specific demands, our silicone elastomers comply with a broad spectrum of properties and are available in various chemical formulations.

    The basic properties are:

    • High chemical resistance
    • Self-releasing properties (with oil bleed)
    • High transparency through special production methods
    • Excellent mechanical properties; resistance to tear, high tensile strength, various shore hardness and cure speeds, with simple mix ratios.

    Furthermore, we also offer a range of silicone elastomers that are certified for skin and food contact.
