Tübingen – For many staff members of CHT R. Beitlich GmbH it has been evident for a long time that their employer is among the best in Germany. It is not without reason that the identification with the company and the staff loyalty at the chemical specialty company in Tübingen are very high. Now, the qualities of CHT as an employer were awarded with the "Top Job" label. Mr. Wolfgang Clement, the "Top Job" mentor, awarded the Swabian company at the German summit of medium-sized companies on 26th June in Essen. Before this awarding the Human Resources management of CHT R. Beitlich GmbH had been thoroughly checked by Prof. Dr. Heike Bruch and her team from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
They interviewed staff and HR managers at all the German sites of CHT. The competition and interviews of the Institute for Management and Human Resources management of the University of St. Gallen focused on the methods and instruments of personal management applied in Tübingen.
On the whole, CHT R. Beitlich GmbH could achieve very positive results in all the fields.
Mr. Jan Siebert, Commercial Director at CHT R. Beitlich GmbH, admits "We are of course especially pleased to be awarded this honour because the award confirms our value-orientated company policy and long-term staff policy. However, the vast analysis gives us the opportunity for a further optimisation of our quality as employer. To us, committed, qualified and motivated employees are a guarantee for our success."
The vast analysis is now being evaluated at the headquarters in Tübingen and then implemented into measurements. "We need staff who identify with the company, its policy as well as its targets. Therefore, we want to expand our strengths and deal with topics where we see further development potential", says Mr. Peter Hepper, Head of Human Resources at CHT R. Beitlich GmbH. "In the future, we aim at convincing highly qualified applicants to join our company."
The works council at CHT was also highly delighted by the award. "A permanent success can only be achieved by a good and motivated staff." states Mr. Michael Wellhäußer, Head of the CHT works council, "The right decisions must be made but it is equally important to repeatedly check intermediate steps and results. The awarding with the Top Job label shows that we are on the right track. The analysis provides approaches for further optimization."

The company comparison "Top Job"
The "Top Job" quality label for ideal Human Resources management at medium-sized companies has been awarded since 2002 and is therefore considered to be a pioneer employer label. The scientific direction of the benchmarking is carried out by Prof. Dr. Heike Bruch and her team of the Institute for Management and Human Resources management of the University of St. Gallen. The former Federal Minister for Economic Affairs, Mr. Wolfgang Clement, is the mentor of the competition. Cooperation partners are the fairs "Personal2015 Süd" and "Zukunft Personal 2015" as well as the portal for professionals cleverheads.eu. In the future, the former Director of compamedia, Ms. Silke Masurat, will take over the orientation of the employer comparison together with zeag GmbH – Zentrum für Arbeitgeberattraktivität in Constance (Centre for Employer Attractiveness) founded by her. 98 medium-sized companies have applied for the current "Top Job" circle, among them 82 companies are allowed to carry the label. About half of them are family companies. There are 25 national market leaders among the top employers; on average they employ 363 staff members.
