CHT R. Beitlich GmbH clearly anchored the topic of “reconciling family and work life” in its corporate strategy. For decades, our company has implemented a family-oriented human resources policy and has offered various measures for supporting an improved reconciliation of vocational and private interests.
These offers range from flexible working time schedules which are oriented to the different phases of life, individual part-time jobs, telework/home office, special tariff payments and additional benefits, through a broad range of corporate health management measures up to holiday camps for our employees’ kids, informative events and in-house social counselling.
At the beginning of 2017, CHT decided to apply for the award “Family-Oriented Company” within the familyNET project. The project is backed by the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Baden-Wuerttemberg, the Employers’ Associations and the State Council for Family Affairs of Baden-Wuerttemberg.
The title rates and appreciates the commitment of medium-sized companies to an improved reconciliation of working life and family.
For the award the criteria for the topics “service for families and health” were not the only decisive aspects. The familyNET inspectors also scrutinised the human resources development, work organisation, working time and management competence at CHT.
“The Reconciliation of Family and Working Life” is part of our corporate strategy. It is our aim to be an attractive and performance-oriented employer by creating equal chances for women and men. The title of “Family-Oriented Company” confirms us in our family-supporting human resources management. Mr Peter Hepper, Head of Human Resources at CHT R. Beitlich GmbH says: “The title encourages us to create more family-oriented offers to our staff and to develop our family policy and its tools furthermore.”
