Within the past ten years inkjet has heavily affected the trillion-dollar textile industry.With the advent of recirculating heads pigment inks containing binders reached industrial maturity and are starting to be installed in major print houses around the world. Having mastered the combination of inkjet and pigments, the industry is now interested in understanding the effect of various textile substrates.Within this technical presentation, we will show some of our recent findings and demonstrate examples where primers can greatly influence the print outcome.
