1971 Foundation of BEZEMA by Mr. Reinhold Beitlich.

1972 Real estate is acquired, an office and storage building is constructed in the Letzau industrial area of Montlingen/SG.

1973 Purchase of additional real estate: total surface now 15.335 square meters.

1976 Construction of the manufacturing facility, start of auxiliary production.

1978 Starting up of the first reactor to produce softeners.

1980 Dyestuff-Sales are taken up. Hall III (including offices and labs wing) is erected.

1984 The office-building is raised.

1985 Starting up of the new boiler plant. Data processing is introduced in the entire organisation. Co-operation with CHT-Austria.

1989 Starting up of the automatized high density storage room.

1990 Enlargement of the laboratories.

1991 Starting up of an additional reactor and 10 t mixer.

1994 Demolition of hall I and establishing of new administration and laboratory building. Completion and start up of standardisation and packaging plant. Replacing computer-system with a new IBM AS 400 computer system.

1995 Planning of new production facilities for dyestuff finishing and extension of the warehouse.

1996 Decease of Mr. R. Beitlich (8 July). Reorganisation of CHT group of companies. BEZEMA now worldwide in charge of dyestuffs. Purchase of 781 square meters of land for parking lots.

1997 Completion of the dyestuffs' production wing and of the second high density storage room. Starting up communication and training centre.

1998 Purchase of 16.502 m2 of land. Starting up of production of Liquid-dyes.

1999 Completion and opening of the EC -Warehouse at CHT-Austria for BEZEMA dyestuffs. BEZEMA becomes ETAD member.

2000 Purchase of 2.497 square meters of land for parking lots. Total surface 31.233 square meters. Enlargement of the administration and laboratory building.

2001 Setting into operation of the third dye powder processing range.

2002 Setting up of the third high density storage room plus logistics building. Enlargement of the communication and training centre.

2003  Starting up of hall 5 with the new boiler plant.

2004 Foundation of BEZEMA Tunesia.
2005 Expansion of research and development.
2006 Start up of our new power supply unit.

2007 Expansion of the dyes production to include two new production lines with an automatic filling unit. Mr. Walser retires after 38 years of leading BEZEMA AG.
2008 Mr. Elmiger is appointed the new director of BEZEMA AG. Founding of BEZEMA Marocco.
2009 Finishing building up laboratory and office facilities.

2011 Mr. Fischer is appointed the new director of BEZEMA AG.
