Charitable foundation

Motivated and highly qualified employees who show initiative and are prepared to take on personal responsibility are a prerequisite for successful business activity. For this reason, a co-operative management style is maintained at CHT which encourages creativity, effort, mutual respect and helpfulness, satisfaction and personal further development.

CHT’s social responsibility does not, however, end at the factory gates. Back in 1983 the company’s founder, Reinhold Beitlich, founded the non-profit-making Reinhold Beitlich Foundation together with his wife Gertrud. The couple promised irrevocably to go without their fortune during their lifetime and put it into the charitable foundation. Commensurate with the wishes of the founders, the Reinhold Beitlich Foundation supports and encourages:

  • The education and training, care and welfare of young people,
  • Sick and needy young people, orphanages, research projects for the medical care of children and young people,
  • Science and research in the area of chemistry,
  • Research projects connected with renewable raw materials.
