Thickening agents:
Almost exclusively synthetic, acrylate-based thickening agents are used in pigment printing. Some criteria for very good pigment thickening properties are surface printing, sharp outlines, brilliance and low electrolyte sensitivity. Further important properties are the quantity used, smoke production and other ecological properties. We have the right selection for every requirement.

Binders:
The binder is decisively responsible for the fastness of the pigment prints during use. The most important fastnesses are wash fastness, chemical cleaning fastness and friction fastness. The handle and the brilliance of the colours are also influenced by the choice of binder.

Fixers:
Fixers achieve an improvement in fastness through crosslinking of the binder. Our range contains fixers containing little or no formaldehyde and low-temperature fixers. Combination products already contain softeners and emulsifiers.

Softeners:
Softeners improve the surface appearance and the handle and have an influence on fastness.

Emulsifiers:
Emulsifiers improve pigment print running characteristics.

Rheological additives: these have a positive effect on printing behaviour and the possible print metrage length. A positive influence on brilliance and colour depth are further advantages of this product group.
