Nowadays, 95 % of textiles are bleached with environmentally compatible hydrogen peroxide. The use of peroxide stabilisers is necessary to enable the slow and controlled disintegration of the bleaching agent and thus to avoid stability losses in the material and to achieve maximum whiteness.

Hydrogen peroxide bleaches can, however, also be used at low temperatures with a short bleaching time, using special activators.
